I’ve become a huge fan of online shopping recently. Given that the Aussie dollar is so strong (or the American dollar is weak – whichever!), shopping at US-based shops actually works out pretty good, even after factoring in the international shipping costs. Recently I’ve bought numerous things – a stuffed Domo toy for Rhys, a Transformers t-shirt for Rhys, a Rainbow Bright T for myself, a print for Rhys & I, and another T for myself.
Just today I discovered Mod Cloth, and I’m totally digging their stuff. Given that it takes less than a couple of weeks to ship, it’s hardly a long wait for your delivery, and so far I’ve found every place to be 100% reliable. So once there’s some money in the account again (which admittedly will probably be a very long time!), I think I’ll buy some stuff from Mod Cloth. Loving:
Another shop that I’m a huge, huge fan of is ShanaLogic. I’ve purchased a couple of things from there in recent times:
… and of course have my eyes on a whole heap more. ShanaLogic is one of those sites that makes me wish that I owned an credit card with endless credit that I never had to pay back – I’d probably buy out the whole site if I could. With ShanaLogic, once the products sell out, they are rarely brought back into stock, as they’re generally limited release. Mod Cloth will attempt to restock items that have been requested by a large number of people. I’ve missed out on a few things from ShanaLogic that I’m kicking myself about! ShanaLogic also has funky stuff for guys (and Rhys’ birthday is fast approaching… hmmm!). Some of the other cute stuff from ShanaLogic:
