It’s taken fifteen months, but I think I have finally found a theoretic framework in which to set my thesis (Cooley’s conceptualisation of symbolic interactionism).
Sadly, however, I’ve also found a conference paper given six years ago on pretty much the same topic I will be presenting on in two weeks at Oxford, with all the same ideas. Six years ago!!! Not cool.
Not back to the drawing board, but the thinking cap must seriously go on. I need a swing on things.
