I just thought I’d post a quick hello to any of my students who might have Googled my name today — I surely will have mentioned my blog in the tute, so if you Googled “Erin Stark” and ended up here, you’ve found me!
This isn’t a research blog, or a net studies blog, so it’s rare that I’ll discuss either topic (I used to, when I was writing my honours thesis, but after numerous complaints from friends who argued that my blog had become boring, I decided to cut back on the theory!). Occasionally though, something will grab my attention, and I’ll feel the need to discuss it a little.
I generally try to update once a day, but depending on my schedule (which is generally hectic), posts can be few and far between some weeks. My posts usually contain random and quite boring faff about my everyday life, and are by no means interesting to most people!
Feel free to leave a comment and say hi, or not – that’s the beauty of the Internet. You can be a silent, (mostly) invisible observer if you want to!
Cheers,
Erin.

Neat blog erin.
Thanks, James!
Hey Erin.
Well, couple of months later, here I am.
I am actually struggling (as usual) to finish my Web Communication assignment on time, and was doing a bit of research here and there, before “landing” on Tama’s blog, where I there found your blog in the blogroll.
It is interesting to discover another “aspect” of what we see of you every wednesday in class for.. almost an hour
By the way, I saw one or two posts about this on your blog. Don’t worry, you manage your tutes very well, the group is just not really in to it (and I have to admit I am not very helpful for discussions neither..).
I did not research your name on Google, but I finally found you somehow. I guess the Internet is smaller than we what we think ?
However, I decided not to be silent and I think this is my last break before falling asleep on my keyboard.
I’m going back on my Web presence, I’ll see you in class next week for the last tute.
Take care!
